Oakland County, Michigan — Following the February employment report showing the U.S. economy lost 92,000 jobs, including 12,000 manufacturing jobs and 11,000 construction jobs, Democratic candidate for Congress and former Ford engineer Don Ufford warned that Trump’s economic chaos is hurting Michigan workers.

Oakland County, Michigan — Gas prices in Michigan jumped 25 cents in just two days this week, climbing from $2.99 to $3.24 per gallon as oil prices surged following the Trump Administration’s escalating war with Iran.

Oakland County, Michigan — Following the Trump Administration's attack on Iran, congressional candidate Don Ufford is calling for an immediate vote in Congress to prevent this attack from becoming another forever war.

"Thank goodness somebody finally stood up against Trump. You know, there was a promise it was going to help, but you know what happened, people are now paying on average $1,000 more than they were last year," said Ufford.

"Blocking the Gordie Howe Bridge will devastate our economy - especially our manufacturers and auto industry. “It’s critical that we send a Democrat to Congress who will not accept Corporate or Utility PAC money, who will fight to ban Congressional stock trading, and who has experience actually getting things done in industry and the federal government,” the Former Federal Workers for Don said in a joint statement.
